THINK PERFORMANCE
In Performance Consulting, our Consultants' main focus is in changing human performances that have impact on organizations. We are valued as partners of choice in achieving and sustaining performance and business results.
A) Creating Lasting Change
Many a time, organizations aims at improving their organization's effectiveness by seeking and trying out new initiatives, i.e. strategies, solutions or latest fads, but in the long run are disappointed as the initial boost of employees' morale or spark of commitment for change brought about by those new initiatives are only temporary.
Many of our customers have a common question – “How can we then create lasting change?” This is the question our Consultants will assist organizations in.
B) Our Methodology
We improve performance and create lasting change in performance through 4 phases:
i) Identify :
The IDENTIFY phase involves defining the goal and focus of an initiative. This is an important process because defining a goal may spark the desire to work for it. The path to success and getting what one really wants in life is through a sustained vision of the future. When a detailed vision of a desired future or goal is formed, it serves as a guide in gathering efforts and identifying of key success factors and actions or improvement initiatives needed to achieve the vision and goal.
ii) Select :
The SELECT phase involves assessing and analysing the current state against the desired state to identify detailed gaps that need to be closed or resolved. This phase could involve the assessment of talents and identification of development gaps or it could involve the assessment and selection of solutions critical in achieving the desired goal. In addressing a problem, there can be many solutions. This phase aims at selecting the most effective solution or selecting the most effective methodology to execute the proposed solution.
iii) Develop :
The DEVELOP phase involves designing of progressive and continuous processes, systems and solutions to engage people to build commitment to the initiatives The key success factor in any successful project is engaged and motivated employees. When employees see themselves as an integral part of the organisation, they will be willing to go the extra mile to meet the organisation' desired goals. Moreover, this phase also involvesequipping employees with the necessary skills and know-how for successful execution and achievement of the desired goals / vision. Motivated and skillful employees are most productive.
iv) Sustain :
The SUSTAIN phase focuses mainly on sustaining the change and improvement initiatives. It is equally important that the new initiatives implemented is cascaded and sustained throughout the organisation and information or knowledge that is gained in the classroom is brought back to everyday working conditions. A series of activities, system or processes such as restructuring of roles and reporting relationships, enhancing of performance monitoring and measuring approaches, and restructuring of compensation packages, etc needs to be put in place to create an environment that encourages and reinforces a new culture and way of working that can sustain desired vision.
